The Pink Monument is the first out of twelve fimo pieces, for my exhibition called 'Colours of London.'
Buckingham Palace is a highly detailed 2D painting. Combining structure, texture, humour and colour. With its tranquil setting my use of colour has given the Palace a vibrating positive energy around it. The pink monument literally leaps out in front of you and you are drawn into the energy and movement of the band. Then the magical elements of the whole picture are brought together. |
